Second Saturday Sing is a Christian music/open-mic/fellowship night which began in January of 1996 by Len and Claudia Kruse, an Elgin couple whom God blessed with a really big living room. If you're a musician or not, you're welcome to enjoy the group worship, open-mic, fellowship, and snacks. If you ARE a musician and would like to sing or play at open-mic, either fill out the form on our contact page or just show up and sign-up to sing. We ask you to limit it to 1 or 2 songs to keep things moving and give everyone a chance. (Family-friendly please.) Everyone is asked to bring a snack to share during intermission. We start at 7:00. Kids are welcome but your supervision is expected - there is no one else to watch them. SSS is held on the second Saturdays of March, June, September, and December. (months number 3, 6, 9, and 12)
